Fareed, a native New Yorker, and Umme, a true Londoner had been together a little over a year and Umme booked me for a couples session "just because" (which is always a good reason). Little did she know that Fareed was planning the most adorable surprise proposal for shortly after their session. While I wasn't there for the proposal, I was so glad to have captured a few precious moments before they became fiancés! I'm sure it added an extra "oomph" since everyone had thought they had just gotten married because of Umme's white dress – just a bit of foreshadowing, I suppose! Congratulations to the beautiful couple!
